Hockey jerseys that still fit over the pads and keep the number you approved.
Hockey jerseys have to clear shoulder pads, hold numbers through contact, and separate game-day specs from practice use. We cut hockey jerseys, game uniforms, practice jerseys, and team apparel to your tech pack in heavyweight polyester knit, bird-eye mesh, air-knit, interlock polyester, or reinforced performance materials, 180–320 GSM, then confirm pad fit, decoration, and construction on a sample before bulk.
Minimum 10 pieces per design and colorway. Sampling 7–10 business days. Bulk 3–5 weeks after approval, depending on volume and construction. Pricing scales with quantity. Private label for teams, leagues, and sportswear brands in the USA, UK, Australia, and Europe.
Professional hockey fabrics
The fabric specification depends on whether the order is for game jerseys, practice jerseys, or team apparel. A game jersey and a practice jersey should not automatically use the same fabric weight or construction.
We work with heavyweight polyester knit, bird-eye mesh, air-knit, interlock polyester, and reinforced performance materials from 180–320 GSM. Fabric is selected according to pad fit, breathability, durability, decoration method, and level of play.
Key points
- 180–320 GSM fabric range for game and practice jerseys
- Heavyweight polyester knit for durable game uniforms
- Bird-eye mesh and air-knit for airflow
- Interlock polyester for structured jersey construction
- Reinforced performance materials for higher-contact use
- Material specifications can be matched to your tech pack
Breathability and moisture control
Hockey jerseys need airflow while players are wearing shoulder pads and protective equipment. Poor ventilation can make the jersey feel heavy and uncomfortable during games or long practices.
We use moisture-wicking and quick-dry fabrics for games and practices. Mesh ventilation zones can be added to selected panels to improve airflow while keeping high-contact areas strong.
Key points
- Moisture-wicking fabrics help manage sweat under equipment
- Quick-dry construction supports games and practice use
- Mesh ventilation zones can be added where required
- Breathability can be adjusted by fabric weight and panel layout
- Ventilation areas are positioned without weakening stress points
Durability and reinforcement
Hockey jerseys are exposed to contact, pulling, abrasion, repeated washing, and movement over pads. Standard fashion-sweater construction is not enough for competitive hockey use.
Construction can include reinforced stitching, double-needle seams, durable panels, and abrasion-resistant fabrics. Fabric, color, sublimation, stitching, numbering, and measurements are checked during production and QC.
Key points
- Reinforced stitching for competitive hockey use
- Double-needle seams where extra strength is required
- Durable panels for contact and abrasion areas
- Numbering and decoration reviewed during sampling
- Bulk construction follows the approved pad-fit sample
Game-ready pad fit
A hockey jersey has to fit over shoulder pads and protective equipment without locking the shoulders or restricting arm movement. Practice jerseys may need a different cut or GSM than game jerseys.
We develop professional, athletic, youth, and recreational sizing with patterns adjusted for pad fit. Youth sizing is graded as youth rather than reduced from an adult jersey.
Key points
- Jerseys can be cut to sit over shoulder pads
- Shoulder and sleeve areas reviewed for movement
- Game and practice fits can be developed separately
- Youth sizing uses dedicated grading
- Approved measurements are used as the bulk production reference
Customization options
Choose from our full range of decoration techniques to create your signature look.
Full sublimation printing
High-definition sublimation for team logos, player names, numbers, sponsor graphics, sleeve artwork, shoulder graphics, striping, gradients, and custom patterns. The artwork is printed into the fabric so it can hold through contact, washing, and movement over shoulder pads.
Team branding
Embroidered crests, tackle twill lettering, woven badges, silicone emblems, heat-applied logos, captain letters, sleeve numbers, and back numbers can be placed to your spec. Attachment, stitch quality, placement, and number alignment are validated during sampling and QC.
Private label development
Woven labels, neck labels, size labels, care instructions, hangtags, barcode stickers, branded packaging, player personalization, and retail-ready presentation can be developed for hockey apparel brands and teamwear suppliers. Finalize these at sampling so bulk is not delayed by trims.
Custom team identity
Home, away, alternate, practice, and tournament jerseys can be built with custom striping, sleeve graphics, shoulder panel designs, contrast yokes, lace-neck details, Pantone matching, and coordinated numbering. The jersey is built as your hockey identity, not a relabeled stock sweater.
